Timothy Gulley

A Fort Bend County jury has convicted armed a 29-year-old Houston man of robbing of a Richmond shopping center in 2022.

Timothy Eric Gulley was sentenced to 50 years in prison by a jury of his peers in connection to the Oct. 7, 2022, robbery.

Two of Gulley’s co-defendants are still pending trial.

Awaiting trial for their alleged role in the hold up are Isaihpeter Gikonyo Mwangi and Clareesa Mosha Brown.

They were indicted in November 2022.

Like Gulley, they face life in prison in convicted of the first-degree felony offense of aggravated robbery.

Gulley was also indicted on count of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third-degree felony.

Gulley had two prior felony convictions and was tried as a habitual offender, exposing him to a punishment range of 25 – 99 years, or life, in prison.

He must serve half of his sentence before he can be considered for parole.

Gulley was tried in 268th District Court before Presiding Judge Steve Rogers.

Assistant District Attorneys Madison Limbacher and Mobi Nwankwo prosecuted the case.
