Rocky Ray Risinger, 67, of Rosenberg, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, surrounded by family.
Rocky was born on August 7, 1956, in Angelton, Texas to Thurman Risinger and Irma Jean Runnels. He grew up in Damon, Texas where he attended Needville High School. Rocky enjoyed country music and loved to dance. Rocky was a hard worker and spent his career as an oil field machinist. He treasured his moments with his kids and grandkids and was always telling the best stories.
He is survived by his sons: Tyler Risinger and wife, Stacy, of Katy. Nolan Risinger of Rosenberg; daughters: Nicky Corral and husband, Juan, of Sealy. Lauren Tibbetts and husband, Matt, of Sugar Land. Grandchildren: Juan Sebastian, Joshua, Kailyn, Brayden, Riley, Payton, Ethan, Emma, Nathan. Brothers: Wayne Risinger and Jimmy Risinger. Sisters: Delores Thomas and Johnny Lynn McGill. Best friend and companion, Beverly Graeber.
Rocky was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Starlene and Tommy Risinger.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 4th at 11:00am at Thrive Church in Fulshear, Texas.
