Angelina “Angie” Lydia Bohac

Angelina “Angie” Lydia Bohac, 87, of Needville, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 7, 1936 in Needville, Texas to Henry and Mary Drabek Kure.

Her hobbies included cheering on her beloved Houston Astros (especially Jose Altuve), fishing, playing dominoes, shooting pool and spending time with her family. Angie also enjoyed spending time on the farm with her animals. Peacocks were her favorite. Trips to the beach to look for shells and sand dollars were among some of her favorite things. Angie worked at the Richmond State School for 30 + years. This loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend will truly be missed.

In addition to her parents, Angie is preceded in death by her husband, John Bohac Sr., her siblings, Bessie Petrzelka, Emil Kure, Henry Kure and Wesley Kure, son-in-law, Joel Fritsch Sr. and daughter-in-law, Susan Bohac.

Survivors include her children, Shirley Fritsch, John Bohac Jr., Dorothy Shed and husband, Edward, Howard Bohac and Mark Bohac; grandchildren, Rachel Hernandez and husband, Steven, Sandra Fritsch, Joel Fritsch, Jr. and wife, Janie, Brooke Bohac, Ryan Bohac and wife, Jessica, Chris Bloomquist, and Laura Ritter and husband, James; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Mary A. Walleck; along with numerous extended family and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2024 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

Pallbearers will include Chris Bloomquist, Ryan Bohac, Blaine Janise, Trenton Hewitt, Joshua Perez and Zackary Hernandez.

Honorary pallbearers will include Aiden Daugherty, Joseph Perez and Nate Bloomquist.
