A Fort Bend County grand jury returned indictments against 17 individuals this month for a variety of felony offenses.

Indictments are not an indication of guilt, only that the grand jury believed a jury of the defendant’s peers should determine if a crime had been committed.

Due to a space limitation, here is a partial list of individuals indicted, the charges and the punishments they face, along with the date of the alleged offense and judge assigned to hear their cases:

Darrell Guy Beadle, aggravated kidnapping with a deadly weapon, 11/19/2020, a first-degree felony, Judge Steve Rogers.

Larrys Johanz Veneri Hernandez, violating bond or protective order twice in a 12-month period, 2/16/2022, a third-degree felony, Judge Rogers.

Caleb Daniel Gavia, possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1/1-B, less than 1 gram, 3/27/2023, a state-jail felony, Judge Tameika Carter.

Augustin Hernandez Garcia, possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1/1-B, less than 1 gram, 4/20/2023, a state-jail felony, Judge Becerra.

Nelly Stefhan Mireles, possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1/1-B, less than 1 gram, 5/20/2023, a state-jail felony, Judge Rogers.

Akeam Masheeq Daniels, assaulting a family member or member of the household by impeding breathing/circulation, 7/31/2023, a third-degree felony, Judge Surendran Pattel.

John William Swope, possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1, less than 1 gram, 11/21/2022, a state-jail felony, Judge Pattel.

Shaune Jamal Hite, unlawful possession a firearm by a felon, 9/21/2023, a third-degree felony, Judge J. Christian Becerra.

Shannon Marie Martinez, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 10/7/2023, a second-degree felony, Judge Becerra.

Gerardo Mata, unauthorized use of a vehicle, 11/4/2023, a state-jail felony, Judge Pattel.

Saul Tristan Alvarez, driving while intoxicated, third offense or more, 11/6/2023, a third-degree felony, Judge Chad Bridges.

Letyson Demond Henderson, possession of a controlled substance, penalty group 1/1-B, less than 1 gram, 11/30/2023, a state-jail felony, Judge Pattel.
