| Needville ISD board to honor students, teams |

| Needville ISD staff and students will be recognized during the school board meeting Wednesday.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Needville High School library.
Students from the FFA livestock judging team who placed first in district and fifth in area - qualifying for the state competition - will be honored, as well as the students from the UIL Academics team, who qualified for the state UIL competition.
The coaches and assistant coaches for the baseball and softball teams will also be recognized during the meeting.
Other items to be discussed include:
€ Adopting the building code for the new school;
€ Renewing the contract with SSC for custodial services;
€ Campus reports; and
€ The reorganization of the board of trustees.
