| A teller was charged Wednesday in a stickup of her own Missouri City bank, five days after police arrested her boyfriend in the Valentine's Day holdup.
Natheniel Paul Stewart, 24, of Missouri City, and Felicia Kadian Brown, 21, of Fresno have been charged with robbing the Wells Fargo Bank, 3660 Hampton, as it was opening around 6:45 that morning.
Stewart was arrested the following day, said John H. Bailey, captain of the administrative division of the Missouri City Police Department.
Officers said Brown was the second teller to enter the bank that morning when a gunman came up from behind and put a gun to her side. Stewart, who was later identified as the gunman, turned out to be Brown's boyfriend, Bailey said.
During questioning both suspects admitted their participation in the robbery, Bailey said.
Stewart was charged with aggravated robbery and bail was set at $1.35 million. Brown was initially released but re-arrested on Wednesday, charged with robbery. Her bail was also set at $1.35 million.
A substantial portion of the stolen money was recovered Feb. 15 at a Houston location, Bailey said.
