| Court to consider grant funding for year |

| The Fort Bend County Commissioners Court this week will consider continuing its funding of the Meals on Wheels program offered in Fort Bend County by the non-profit group Fort Bend Seniors.
Fort Bend Seniors is one of several groups that have been chosen by commissioners to receive federal funding this year, through what are called Community Development Block Grant funds.
The commissioners court meets at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Travis Building in Richmond. The court will also consider:
€ CDBG funding agreements for fiscal year 2007, as well as similar agreements for the HOME Investment Partnerships and Emergency Shelter Grants program;
€ An agreement between the county and Child Advocates of Fort Bend County, Inc. for utilization of office space at 5403 Ave. N in Rosenberg, through Sept. 30, 2008, for an amount not to exceed $65,929.56;
€ Authorizing the county engineer to negotiate professional Engineering Services Contract with Kellogg Brown & Root Services, Inc. (KBR) for preliminary Toll Feasibility Analysis on the proposed University Boulevard extension across the Brazos River, Precinct 1; and
€ Joint Election Agreements between the county and area entities for the Nov. 6 special election.
