After several rain outs and playing under wet conditions so far this year, the Greatwood Senior Men's Golf Organization played a 2-man total (net), select drive tournament Wednesday, with John Johnson and Jim Halcarz shooting a combined net 130 to win the "A" flight, under ideal weather conditions.

Jim Willett and Cal Dockery's 130 was good for second place, while Gary Frueh and Ron Spratt shot 133 to take third.

In the "B" flight, Dan McWilliams and Ron Olivia combined for a two man total of 114 shots. Larry Baehre with the Greatwood Seniors played with this team and reports they had five or six natural birdies, including some chip- in's. Olivia almost eagled the eighth hole, as his approach shot hit the stick and finished two feet away.

Due to the magical round, they finished 16 shots ahead of the second place team of Keith Gresham and Michael Jackson who finished with a score of 130.

In third place, shooting 132 was the team of Ron Garner and Jim Assad.
