The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch has announced the formation of the new Golf Academy at Cinco Ranch. The academy will be based at the course's 20-acre practice facility, which includes a 320-yard long practice range with tee areas at both ends, a practice pitching and chipping green, a practice sand bunker and two putting greens.

"We're committed to the game of golf and the people who play it," said Karl Ludeke, head golf professional at the club. "Our Player Development Program has helped many players get more out of their games, and the new Golf Academy will enhance our capabilities in that area."

The new Golf Academy at Cinco Ranch is open to all golfers. Whether they're advanced, or inexperienced, juniors or seniors, men or women - lessons will be structured to address the needs of each individual.

"We recognize the importance of each lesson and strive to make each one personal, pressure free and rewarding," said Ludeke.

The Golf Academy at Cinco Ranch has a staff of five PGA golf professionals who will conduct private lessons for anyone interested in game improvement. The academy also offers group lessons.

Each of the professionals will have access to the club's V1 Digital Video Coaching System, the same technology used by the PGA Teaching and Learning Center in Florida, the Butch Harmon School of Golf in Nevada, and the David Ledbetter Golf Academy in Florida. The V1 system is considered the most advanced video system available to golf instructors.

"We have a dedicated staff of PGA professionals who have a strong desire to help golfers improve their games and the knowledge it takes to make that happen," said Ludeke. "Golfers who have spent time at our course know we're dedicated to offering a quality experience at a fair price. We've taken the same approach with our Golf Academy."

The official unveiling of the Golf Academy at Cinco Ranch will take place on March 13, when Ludeke and the rest of the Academy staff will gather at the club from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to provide golfers with free a video analysis of their swings. Literature about the Academy's programs, schedules and several special offers will also be available during the unveiling.

The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch is located three miles south of Interstate 10 and two blocks east of the Grand Parkway on Cinco Ranch Blvd. For information about the course and the new Golf Academy at Cinco Ranch, call Karl Ludeke at (281) 395-4653.
